Niambi Ra is a multi-faceted artist who walks confidently in the worlds of hip-hop/R&B and on Broadway as well. Her new release titled "See To Be (C 2 B)," she goes back to the classic hip-hop styles – merging smooth soulful samples, boom-bap drums plus profound feel-good lyricism to complete the job. The entire vibe harks back to the '90s with a modern twist while Niambi Ra reminds listeners to shed negativity and focus on the positive flow in order to experience pure joy. Armed with a gripping flow that shows she is no slouch, she drops gems like “...Equilibrium tween interdependent elements /Got my soul shook as the energy balanced/Love is the hook that will serve you with the answers /Love is the potion that will make you do what matters.”

The vibrant video was directed by filmmaker and self-proclaimed digital nomad Chelsea Odufu who taps into the song's positive theme to deliver an aesthetically pleasing visual. It centers on freewheeling performances by Niambi Ra who puts her theatre training to good use here and also captures beautiful everyday people and different scenery in NY to emphasize positive images of blackness. In a time, where Black bodies are still targets and images and videos of Black people suffering due to systemic racism are cluttering social media timelines, the beauty and Blackness portrayed in “C 2 B,” is exactly what audiences need.
