C.G. presents new R&B and hip-hop compilation 'The Certified Genius'

New Jersey producer C.G. confidently displays his growth and ever-expanding skill set on his latest effort, The Certified Genius. A 13 track project that includes features from Guilty Simpson, Rockness Monsta, Ren Thomas, Bizarre (D12), Ca$his, Twisted Insane, and more. The project sees C.G exploring a variety of sounds while keeping the hip-hop element present, for example, the track "Transition" is a nice mix of R&B. The contemplative record is helmed by C.G's longtime collaborator Elus and singer B.Ankah who channels her entire soul on the chorus. On "Angels," C.G. heads to the gutter with two of the underground's most recognizable voices, Guilty Simpson and Rockness Monsta. Other cuts like the rock guitar-driven "Destruction" and the trap-infused "Higher" continues the producer's shape-shifting soundscapes.

The compilation also serves as a mini-treasure trove of content for listeners who get to hear not just seven brand new tracks, but instrumentals for them all as well (sans the opening "Intro" cut). Whether C.G. is a new name to you or you've seen him kicking around the scene, consider this your introduction. Get The Certified Genius on all DSPs here

T-shirts and hoodies of the album cover can be purchased in various colors through C.G.'s Bandcamp page as well as his online store.
