U.K. based pop singer Òlah Bliss has released the official video for her latest single, "We Only Live Once." Although the song is about regrets, and the complications of love, she concludes in the chorus, “We Only Love Once…” In the video, she gets creative in her apartment complex using available resources to create an entertaining visual for the song. The performance-based video features the singer in four scenes and on-screen lyrics from the song. She also uses interesting props like balloons and confetti to keep the mood exciting.
Touching on the song title, she said “‘We Only Live Once’ is one of those records that takes you on a journey of realisation that love is the most powerful feeling in the world and sometimes it makes us act out of character, but at the end of the day, we do only get one shot at this thing called life, so does it even matter?"
Putting out content as an independent artist isn’t the easiest thing in the world — especially during a global pandemic. However, Òlah is one of the few artists working hard to keep her audience engaged. Usually, most artists would just shoot a single shot video in one costume and release it for their fans — not Òlah though. The video has a about four scenes, multiple shots (by James Sims), different costumes and a variety of props.
Òlah Bliss has an extensive experience in performing live. Besides performing at shows from an early age, after she moved to London, she toured with many greats, including Rag’n’Bone Man & Hopsin. She also played for the fashion crowds of London Fashion Week, and the official SXSW 2019 showcase.
