Longtime collaborators 6orn and Geo Fendi have teamed up for a stylish new video for “Oceans,” a wavy banger produced by CEDES. The track showcases the duo's ability to complement each other’s talents and also serves as a launchpad for emerging act Geo Fendi who is signed to 6orn's Rich & Fly imprint. The two worked together on 6orn’s 2019 EP, Play for Keeps and it seems the bond continued to grow. Just like the title, the hip-hop duo ramp up their individual styles to deliver this psychedelic slapper that is rife with silky autotune melodies and a hard-hitting 808 drumline.
For the music video, 6orn teams up with director Pxvcegod, who also directed 6orn’s previous video for, “Oh Yeah” taken from his Play for Keeps EP. The director makes good use of the rapper's performance shots and worked on all of the animated effects, which bring additional life and color to the already-vibrant track. There’s laser-etched demon faces, nostalgic filters, and other engaging visual elements that make “Oceans” a feast for the eyes and ears. For a loose track, 6orn goes above and beyond to bring his vision to the screen and while it's not tied to a larger body of work at the moment, only time will tell if things change.
