Cutting through the noisy Nashville music scene is a voice that simultaneously garners a charming familiarity whilst moving the alt-pop needle further down a path yet fully unexplored. The voice in question is New York raised, Nashville-based burgeoning songstress Jillian Steele. With a humble four singles under her belt to date, her music has fast met the caliber of her chart-topping contemporaries, occupying a space similar to the likes of Julia Michaels, Kelsea Ballerini, and The Japanese House.

"New Orleans" revels in the same ocean-deep atmosphere of her previous releases, and pulls focus to her rich and transportable storytelling, a concurrent hallmark of her work. Steele elucidates in the email press release that, "This song was so organic to write because it was just as unexpected as falling in love in New Orleans." As she continues to venture further down her path of creative expression, her clear affinity for songwriting follows suit, and will no doubt blossom for many years to come.
