The Silky Papa better known as Delly dropped his newest track "Medusa". The Harlem-bred artist is a jack of all trades, as he seamlessly moves in and out of various genres. His roots are planted in soca-pop, a product of his cultural upbringing. But "Medusa" brings him into another dimension, showing his ability to drop a couple of verses over some hip-hop production.
The EDM-infused track is flooded with deafening bass and animated soundscapes. Delly is in his comfort zone on the track, serving up confident bars about his "Medusa". Contrary to Greek mythology, Delly's idea of Medusa is really his ride or die. She keeps the strap in her purse and she's always ready for whatever. Delly isn't dropping verses that will change your life, but the confident versatility is quite refreshing.
Delly has been pretty active in the last two years, he just dropped his latest project Twenty7. His latest body of work follows up his 2019 release, No One Seems to Care, a collab with fellow artist Savemoneysip. He's also dropped a few soca tracks including "Yeehaw" and "Ah Like Dat!" earlier this year that might put a twist in your hip. Check him out up top.
