DJ and producer Whethan connects with alternative artist and activist grandson to create an attitude-filled blend of alt-rock and classic UK rave in new single “All In My Head.”
The young 20-year-old producer knocks it out of the park with this one. "All In My Head" packs a serious punch with its distorted heavy metal riff sounds, and it's nonchalant, no fucks vocal delivery. Its gritty multi-layered production creates an industrial rave comfort zone that would have any dance punk feeling right at home. The tracks deranged synths render bits of nostalgia to the angsty raver generations of a distant past. But Whethan's masterful ability to blend modern rock and dance sounds in a more polished way adds a bit of youthful charm to the track, rather than make it feel like an outdated release. "All In My Head" is easily a track that demands the volume to be turned all the way up and with the button left on repeat.
“All In My Head” is the latest single from Whethan's forthcoming debut album FANTASY. According to a recent press release: Whethan will kick off his North American headline ‘Fantasy’ tour March 26th at Los Angeles, CA’s The Novo with additional stops in San Francisco, Chicago, and Brooklyn (see details below).
