Up-and-coming talent out of North Atlanta, iivrson, is one of the newest, exciting acts to rise from such a dominating city. Last month, he released a single and video for his song, "Pressure". This was just the second single that iivrson has released.
The 23-year old melodiously raps over a 808-heavy beat by Odd Genetics. The stress of what comes with breaking through as an artist seems to be what's on iivrson's mind here as the main hook sings, "I've been stressin' on the low".
He raps about being able to not fold under pressure and that he's driven by self-motivation.
The music video, directed by Jeremy Baiden, shows him roaming the the city of Atlanta until the sunsets. Iivrson then holds a torch while the sun's down and his clique vibes outside of a mural with a Young Jeezy 'the Snowman' graffitied. Throughout the visual, you will see clocks as a central theme of pressure and anxiety.
"Pressure" is a showing of raw creativity and vulnerability. There's no telling what iivrson will do next. He plans on rendering another single before the end of the winter. With tracks like this being just the start for the young artist, the future seems limitless.
