It's that time of the week where we compile some of the best urban releases you may have missed. We got more than a handful of gems that run the gamut from classic hip-hop sounds to heartwarming soulful pieces.

RawDawg mashes rap/trap and metal/hardcore on "StepDown, " Santyna gives us a soulful double with "hi.." and  the trap-infused "Ecdysis." LA-based pro gamer Mike Haze gets spooky on "Speak of the Devil" while Charlie Muse's "Holiday Blues" reflects on loneliness during the holiday season. Thaddeus David aka KOTH flexes his lyrical muscles with "Legislation" and Hungarian artist/ multi-instrumentalist Àbàse links with Emmavie and ScienZe on the adulation filled "Slow It Down."  Mr. J. Medeiros and FORM throw caution to the wind on the breezy skill- over- everything anthem "Fucks On Zero" as Gold Coast, queer artist Jarom implores us to "Chill" and live life.UK's MC Snowy and Jason Williamson bark down on the establishment on their gritty collab "EFFED" and  Hans Inglish reflects on life and what may be on "Nobody But Me."The duo of  Just Nell & Flo Kennedy go for gold on "Muddy Waters" with fiery lyrics and Greisun clears out the emotion parasites on the atmospheric single "yuh (fool)."  Veteran rapper Twan Mack teams with budding singer Solana on "Rewind" and we close with the classic rap posse vibes from Heather Grey, Skyzoo, T-Moe, and  Bo York on "Gratis/Libre."

If you dug what you hear, you can revisit our previous episodes of The Slice here.
