Amidst the all-too familiar male-dominated industry of dance music, LA-based DJ and producer Wenzday brings a fresh and empowering sonic experience to the foreground—one driven through searing bass and reverberating passion.
Raised in the Bay Area, Taylor Chung aka Wenzday, is a classically trained vocalist who, after discovering her true DJ passions, uprooted herself to the City of Angels. Since then, the young artist has made a name for herself, becoming the youngest DJ to ever play at the world-famous Playboy Mansion; subsequently, she has become one of the most sought-after open format DJs in the city. A true creative all around, Wenzday is also a co-founder of LA streetwear clothing company/label 400z Cult, alongside her brother Dack Janiels.
The prolific producer has released various acclaimed singles on Dim Mak, Gold Digger, Doom Records, Play Me Records and Popgang, garnering support from an assortment of media outlets. Wenzday has performed at major festivals across the US this year including Coachella's KROQ House this past April, EDC Las Vegas, Burning Man, Lost Lands and a special main stage performance at Nocturnal Wonderland last month. Known for her fearless live sets, she shows no signs of slowing down and continues a sleep-when-I'm-dead work ethic, because after all, to her growing legion of fans, Everyday is Wenzday.
