Following their hit collaboration "Scratch My Back" and Insane EP, Sonny Fodera and Biscits reunite for new EP Vibrate, marking their third collaboration. It is out now via Fodera's own imprint Solotoko.
Built around waves of ever-present basslines over a lolloping groove, the title track is combining old school house vibes with a modern tech house sensibility. The larger-than-life vocals here set the narrative for the EP right from the beginning – with tough, pacy percussion, they are designed to keep your mind away and body shaking on the dance floor. On "The Get Down," the duo focuses less on the bass, but instead deploys witty vocal chops and sleek synths to create a punchy cut. Their stripped-back aesthetic and production prowess are full-on displayed here. Intertwining thumping bass and funky synth structures amongst grooving top lines, Sonny Fodera and Biscits have delivered another glistening house gem.
