Australian singer-songwriter Harrison Storm opens his latest single “You & I” with a juxtaposition: steady, low rhythmic guitar and delicate, pealing piano notes.

From the beach-front land of Mornington, Victoria, Storm has carved out his career in the music industry tirelessly. Paving his way to "You & I" through busking, founding local acoustic sessions, and then finally, supporting none other than The Paper Kites and The Head and The Heart. Storm's 2017 debut EP Sense of Home is a mix of delicate, overlapping acoustic guitars and powerful, poignant lyrics. "You & I" is intoxicating. The sonics grow slowly, into a track that fills up the room. It is no doubt worthy of the stages Storm is beginning to play. Gearing up for a 2020 North American tour with Hollow Coves, Storm has shown himself as a force to be reckoned with in indie music, and there's nowhere to go but up.

Based in Toronto but my mind is always somewhere else. I like coffee, a good banjo solo, and binge-watching British TV shows.
