Well isn't this a BFF collaboration for the ages.
House music pals Anna Lunoe and Nina Las Vegas have teamed up on a new single – their first directly working together, and not remixing one another – entitled "One Thirty." Released via Mad Decent / NLV Records, the track sees the Australian tastemakers, producers and DJ's show off their hold on a version of bass house that is lovable, danceable and something to sing along to. "One Thirty" has elements that pull from garage, with Lunoe's sampled vocals tying things together as their own.
This release is the latest in a full year of releases for Lunoe – the most she's had in her career. She hit it big with her Right Party EP, and "One Thirty" has continued her streak. This track is Nina Las Vegas's first of the year, as we've seen her focus on developing NLV Records with new talent.
The track's production is the result of a smooth partnership from collaborators who know each other well. And, the illustrated album art is a cherry on top. Though this is their first official work together, it certainly shouldn't be the last.
