Rock duo Fever Joy release “Done Dreaming”– a bold new track off of their upcoming EP entitled Reflection. With infectious pop melodies, grunge rock basslines, and emotive vocals, the single is a narration of the difficulties and joys of the life of an artist. In “Done Dreaming” singer Avery Robitallie shows how important it is to truly believe in what you are creating and come from a place of pure honesty in that creation.
The Southern California duo is composed of Avery Robitallie (vocals) and Sean Baker (drums) who met at an open mic night in Los Angeles. The two soon realized they were musical soulmates, crafting alt-pop and rock songs that focus on the emotions that come along with self-discovery. “The singles are about empowerment, honesty, taking off a filter, telling things for how they are, and just being open and honest about how certain life experiences made us feel”, confides Robitallie.
“Done Dreaming” is the first single off of the highly anticipated upcoming EP Reflection which is due for release late Fall. The stunning five-track EP is produced by Adam Castilla of the band The Colourist and mastered by Brian Lucey (Cage the Elephant, Artic Monkeys). Fever Joy hope to create songs which encourage others to stand up for their beliefs despite adversity. Take a listen to “Done Dreaming” now.
