Lane 8 has put forth impactful news to fans this week, including that of a new album set for release January 2020, an accompanying tour and the release of "Brightest Lights" lead single. The news comes with warm welcome, with the release of his widely popular Sophomore LP Little By Little sitting behind us now in 2018, the new installment in the Colorodo-born producers catalogue will be ultimately released two years after his last.
The single offers a distinct pop variation on his potpourri of dance tracks that populated 2019. Featuring Minneapolis, Minnesota's POLIÇA on a prominent vocal lead, the album's lead single certainly implies a more popular-dance variant on the producers' widely known progressive dance sound. The song can be found in-the-mix via Daniel's latest Fall 2019 Mixtape, where fans can hear how the latest single blends with that of his tracks of the dance-variety.
With much time ahead of us to see what direction the album will take, set for release first month of next year, "Brightest Lights" will sit beside "Little By Little" along with now scores of singles from both himself and akin artists on his self-A&Red label This Never Happened. The label made its' rounds across the United States this season in the form of phone-free Summer Gatherings, foreshadowing the energy that will populate the dates of his upcoming Spring album tour.
