Rexx Life Raj and Kenny Beats might have the best visuals of this year.
The music video for "Moonwalk" is directed by STRIPMALL, produced by Adrian Per, and executive produced by Ari Simon, who together crafted a visual piece of art that gets close to matching the song's buoyant energy. The track itself hears Raj hold a bounce that only he can; he talks shit, gives game, and expresses appreciation for his listeners. Kenny Beats brings out the best in Raj, particularly on the hook that effortlessly punches energy into the listener.
In the action-packed visuals, Officer Raj is sent on a mission to find the missing Ranger Kenny Beats. After a quick training session and spaceship ride, Raj finds himself on the moon trying to fend off aliens. Just as Raj is looking defeated, Kenny Beats appears and joins in the fight against the aliens. The "Moonwalk" music video is both hilarious and extremely well done, showcasing the two acts' chemistry and personality. The most disappointing part of the video is that it's not a two-hour long film.
In addition to the recent release of the "Moonwalk" visuals, Rexx Life Raj also just announced an upcoming project, Father Figure 3 for which you can check out the video announcement here.
