Noble Oak's "Evaporate" is sublime dreampop at its best

If you’re looking for an escape into the ethereal look no further than Noble Oak’s new single “Evaporate”. The Vancouver-born and based artist mixes hopping piano chords and a calm pop back-track.

Patrick Fiore, the man behind the name, releases “Evaporate” alongside his official announcement of signing with Last Gang Records; home to other Canadian names such as Arkells and Bear Mountain. “Evaporate” caught my attention immediately by its airy, expansive vocals and its atmospheric instrumentals. It's easy to imagine the misty, forested Vancouver landscape known to Fiore when listening to the single’s flitting piano and subtle electronic mixing. I look forward to more other-worldly releases from Noble Oak.

Based in Toronto but my mind is always somewhere else. I like coffee, a good banjo solo, and binge-watching British TV shows.
