"Take Care" and listen to Chloe Tang's masterful blend of R&B and Pop

In the junction between defiant and vulnerable, you will find Phoenix native Chloe Tang. Effortlessly weaving between R&B and pop, Tang's labels range anywhere from a simple singer to a prophetic "next big thing." The one thing that fuels her persistent acclaim, though, is her authentic songwriting- a skill that she showcases in her latest single, "Take Care".

Ushering in Tang's honeyed vocals are playful piano chords, emanating youthful charm in a track that is all about feeling good with the one you love. “When I was writing this song, I already had a very clear vision of how I wanted it to sound," she shares. "It’s a straight up, happy, upbeat love song and if you know me at all, that’s not really what I do. But I wrote it because I met someone who came into my life at the most random, unexpected time and we hit it off so well that it felt like I was being pranked or something. It didn’t feel real at all but then eventually I just realized that the best things in life come when you’re not worried about things always going perfectly.”

Produced by past collaborator Thoreau, "Take Care" takes on a summer hue with subtle rhythmic percussions and jubilant horns. While the verses are cleanly sung, Tang lets loose in the euphoric chorus, softly lilting as she exclaims "Baby tell me how you do it so carelessly | Yeah yeah". It's a love affair between her enamored performance and the buoyant production, harmoniously delivering a summer song reminiscent of clear blue skies and rose-coloured memories.
