DJ Snake’s impact on the electronic music scene is immeasurable at this point. This week the 33-year-old French DJ released his second studio album titled Carte Blanche and multiple songs have already made it to the music charts. Although many know him for electronic music, that doesn’t stop Snake from experimenting with different musical genres to create worldwide hits. Today we highlight his collaboration with popular r&b and hip hop artist Bryson Tiller for the track titled “Smile”.

Snake provides Bryson Tiller with an authentic upbeat production on this track to match the intimate and heartfelt lyrics we all know Tiller for. Motivated by a romantic interest in someone, his sensual lyrics match the smooth sound perfectly and he even sprinkled in some steamy lines to ramp up the sexual tension.

Recognizable lyrics [Bryson Tiller]:

Girl, Let’s call it a night, you damn right

Cool with me if you staying the night

He blew your high like dandelion

You made your wish, I grant it right

I'm only riding, riding out then sliding

Unless that’s you right there beside me

In addition to “Smile” being the first collaboration between DJ Snake and Bryson Tiller, the french DJ includes many artists from various musical backgrounds on the album. When considering those who have solidified their name in the rap game, Carte Blanche features Cardi B, Offset, 21 Savage, Gucci Mane, Sheck Wes, and Tyga. Even popular international artists like Burna Boy and J Balvin make appearances on the album. All in all, Carte Blanche is a stacked work of music and “Smile” is just one of the many standout tracks.
