Joe Armon-Jones is not slowing down any time soon. The keyboardist and producer who is at the forefront of an exploding underground jazz scene in London has announced that his second album Turn To Clear View will drop on September 20 on Brownswood Recordings. He has also delivered another preview of the album to follow up “Icy Roads (Stacked),” entitled “Yellow Dandelion” that features guest vocals from the legendary Los Angeles vocalist and producer Georgia Anne Muldrow.

The throbbing funk track reflects Armon-Jones’ expanding sonic palette that maintains an immense level of quality with help from a stellar band including Nubya Garcia, Oscar Jerome, and Moses Boyd. Supporting musicians of such caliber make it so that every small moment in the track offers something exciting for the audience. While Muldrow’s soaring voice provides a captivating focal point, one can’t help but marvel at the band’s musicianship, particularly in the dazzling solo from Armon-Jones. The song is suited for audiences craving sophisticated performances and arranging as well as those who just want to nod their heads.

Turn To Clear View is co-produced by Armon-Jones and Maxwell Owin and features a plethora of guest artists including Asheber, Jehst, and Obongjayar. The album is available for pre-order here.
