The elusive iZNiiK is back with a fiery new Latin style dance number titled "Perdoname".
"Perdoname" is a heater in every sense of the word. iZNiik delivers hip-shaking cumbia and salsa melodies fused with tropical bass to create an intoxicating dance-floor ready track that makes it versatile enough for a night out in Havana or grinding up close in a sweaty dance club in Berlin. "Perdoname" is an unabashed display of diversity from an artist that transcends and blurs the lines of cultural barriers that limit many creatives.
This latest track is nothing like what we heard from them before. But that's what makes this project so delightfully elusive. It embodies a sort of digital ghost that adventures around the internet pulling obscure influences from anonymous sounds and genres around the world to deliver new music that's unrestricted, delightfully familiar but entirely fresh and unique at the same time. Believe it or not, there actually is a massive underground Latin dance and techno fusion happening in major cities like New York and Berlin right now. Somehow IZNiik was able to dig around and brilliantly tap into that with "Perdoname".
Most recently, it seems that the artist has slowly been revealing their physical self to fans with a recent appearance on Zane Lowe's Beats1, where they shared with the legendary radio DJ that iZNiik's music is, "for everyone and made by everybody". Check out a sneak peek of the interview below:
