Two contemporary leaders in progressive dance become one today as a new day dawns on Lane 8 and Yotto's first proper collaboration "I/Y".  Having made elusive appearances at Lane 8's recent Summer Gathering in Brooklyn as well as the finale of his Summer 2019 Mixtape, fans have been eagerly anticipating the collab's formal unveiling. The progressive future-classic harmoniously blends together signature elements of both producers styles, making its' way to listeners ears by way of Lane 8's own This Never Happened label today on all listening platforms of choice.

Through uplifting, understated plucks and symphonic strings the melodic masterpiece opens up making way for a driving beat and baseline. Complimented by a minor-leaning chord progression that carries through the duration of the composure's measures, "I/Y" comes to its' conclusion through melancholic string arrangement; a somber end to an impactful, euphoric composition.

Lane 8 has continued paving the path for progressive producers far and wide by way of his self-A&R'ed This Never Happened label.  Traveling through the United States this summer, Daniel Goldstein and his label have already brought a momentous, phone-free Summer Gathering through Brooklyn, and has three others set to make waves in the soundscapes of Los Angeles, Daniel's home state of Colorado as well as California's Bay Area before the season's done.

This is Anjunadeep all-star Yotto's debut on the blossoming label, a more-than fitting addition and warmly welcomed collaboration that has had fans buzzing since conception.  The Finnish producer has been gearing up for a packed second half of summer, embarking for his home labels' Explorations Festival in Albania next week and set to play many dates of the Open Air tour, complimented by a string of festival performances around the world including the 2019 editions of Electric Forest, IleSoniq Montreal, Your Paradise in Fiji and handfuls more club events.  His recently released Dawn & Dusk remixes of Rufus Du Sol's mega-hit "Underwater" are nothing short of epic and combined with today's release he foreshadows a fantastic summer to-come.
