With a Coachella play notched onto their belts and an ever-buoyant international presence, Walker & Royce continue to carve a singular niche in the house world with their out-of-the-box sound and dedication to pushing musical boundaries. Returning to North America's tech-house label Dirtybird, the duo have released yet another club-ready EP entitled Bodies Do The Talking. The two-track compilation marks their first solo release on the imprint since their standout 2017 album Self Help.

Classically tech-house, Bodies Do The Talking is a double A-sider emitting all the right feels. Namesake "Bodies Do The Talking", begins in a melodious fashion, deceptively ascending to lo-fi transcendence with snaking synths and pulsating percussions. With distorted vocals provided by Sue Yenn, Walker & Royce breathe life onto each chord with urgency, a stirring effort that continues with "Uh Oh". A more consistently-paced groove, the duo exert a haunting ambiance to the vocal progression; in conjunction with electrifying analog buildups, "Uh Oh" makes for a rounded number ready for club play. With both "Bodies Do The Talking" and "Uh Oh", Walker & Royce stake their claim in the flourishing North American tech-house scene, capturing attention with their sophisticated music sensibilities.
