Dreamy favorites Yumi Zouma are back with a new tune to follow their third EP which saw release last year on Cascine. Over the past couple of months, the group shared two adorable and entertaining music videos from EP III for “In Camera” and “Crush (It’s Late, Just Stay).” Both of them are must-sees if you haven’t already. With their EP trilogy complete, the New Zealand natives' newest treat is a track called "Bruise."

Set on the dancier side of Yumi Zouma, “Bruise” falls at just the right pace for as much or as little dancing as you're willing to offer. The band’s pillowed percussion and organic melodies provide this balance of musical serenity and maximum grooving. It’s exactly the kind of breezy chill vibe that can carry you all the way through the hottest beach weather and equally as strong into the inevitably cooler months.

It seems with each release, the band keeps growing more and more into their sound. Despite being scattered across the globe, Yumi Zouma manages to create a cohesive soundscape of blissful layered melodies sealed perfectly with a ribbon of delicate vocals. Even with such a subtle and muted approach, their signature style of pop instantly hooks with the strongest hold. “Bruise” being a great example of what Yumi Zouma does best. Look for “Bruise” out now digitally and be sure to follow along.
