Formerly known as Bini & Martini in the late '90s, Paolo Martini and Gianni Bini have reunited for an epic collaboration in the form of EP Eyecode, released via Sola Records.
With years of experience under their belt, both Martini and Bini have acquired a wide-ranging skillset and a bank of knowledge that effortlessly translates into the EP. Lead track "Eyecode" is a pure tech-house tune, a medley of warped and woozy synth breakdowns that wrap around mesmerizing vocals hooks for a sultry-smooth groove. The rapid fire build up only amps up the track even further, solidifying the pair's production skills. Following, "Freaxs" showcases an intricate tribal-tinged affair, weaving upbeat drums patterns around cosmic chords that soar alongside the broody vocals.
As Bini & Martini, the duo have released notable originals including "Soul Heaven" and "Disco Down", while providing official remixes for the likes of Armand Van Helden, Diana Ross, and Jamiroquai.
