Milwaukee underground hip-hop veteran Twan Mack starts off the year with a new record titled "Laugh At U". The self-produced record is a heartfelt ode to hip-hop luminaries like Phife Dawg (RIH), J Dilla (RIH), Dana Dane and Slick Rick who paved the way for the culture to grow into what it is now. Also, Mack gets in his a few tongue-in-cheek bravado bars.
The visual shot by BrenEnd is pretty hilarious too. It chronicles a day that went all the way wrong for Mack and in a nutshell, the opposite of Ice Cube's "Today Was A Good Day". The visual humanizes Mack with some comical situations and some that aren't so funny. Parking tickets, neighborhood water wars, the result of trying to be a Mack and ultimately getting laid down for his chain.
For those that may not be familiar with Twan Mack's accolades which include a lot of production duties for multi-platinum and Grammy-award winning group Arrested Development and Stricklin (eMC) demo for Tommy Boy Records amongst other endeavors. Twan Mack is currently in the studio working on songs and videos with Ras Kass and Skyzoo.
