Los Angeles experimental pop artist Jett Kwong releases her latest single “Away.” The stunningly crafted track showcases emotive, haunting vocals, glittering synths, and layered string arrangements. Building to a unique multifaceted soundscape, the listener becomes more captivated with each note.

Born in Denver, Colorado, artist Jett Kwong was introduced to singing at just five years old. Since then, she has gone on to perform and teach around the globe, at venues from Shanghai to Berlin. Now based in Los Angeles, Kwong continues to charm audiences with her voice and Chinese guzheng music.
Kwong’s music touches on personal subjects like family, her identity as a mixed heritage woman, and the complexities of colonial history. “Our identities are colored by the context in which we are in – the way we grow up, our appearance, and our basic interests and beliefs”. It’s through this idea that she channels her desire to discover her true roots of individuality.
Empowered by topics surrounding women’s rights, social and political reform, and questions around justice, she hopes to contribute to those conversations to affect change.
