Portland's electronic music innovator Emancipator started his own Loci Records back in 2012, and in the years since, has attracted a wealth of talent who unite over warmth and depth in their music. One of the newer artists in this camp, Marley Carroll, caught our attention from the get go with his debut release, through a lens of beautiful electronica. Now, Carroll joins Emancipator and 9 Theory on tour with the Loci Records family, for which he's put together a just as engrossing mix to give a preview of what attendees can expect. His music, as well as the music he's included in this mix, vary from capturing life's petrichor to hopeful and uplifting lo-fi.
