Belgian beat-maker ShunGu releases a funky dance-worthy new single "Groove It Baby," accompanied by visuals that transcend through space and time. The infectious video dares you not to dance as it sees ShunGu dancing on a rooftop in Brussels with eclectic visuals. "Groove It Baby" follows "Pick Up The Phone", and "Don’t Really Know," the first single to drop from the A Black Market album.
His upcoming album is a fluid representation of ShunGu’s soulful and experimental sound, transcending beats full in flavour and exploding with jazz fusion samples, experimental hip-hop, and funk. Recorded in his home-studio in Brussels, further guests include South London’s MA.MOYO, whose rich spoken word tones bless "Touch By Sun," while Oakland rapper Spote Breeze flows through the chilled funk grooves of "Drop Knowledge".
ShunGu has been dropping cosmic sounding beats since 2012, with an extensive back catalogue of thirty beat tapes on Bandcamp. The single is taken from his forthcoming album A Black Market, self-released on Sunthings Records, out 19th April.
