Formed as a side project in 2012, Skrillex and Boys Noize have reunited as Dog Blood for their new song "Turn Off The Lights", out now via OWSLA and Boysnoize Records. With innovation at it's purest form, the track returns to their high-energy mix of house and techno to mark their first new release since 2013's Middle Finger Pt. 2.
Bumping up the tempo with instrumental drums to call all those old school Dog Blood tribal members, the high pitched vocals and vibrating synths take over to initiate the groove. With a solid flow throughout the track to fuel the crowd with energy, they bring it back to some old school vinyl scratching as if the record player was broken on repeat. Throwing up some Skrillex vibes into the mix, a bass filled drop approaches to lure you into a world of Dog Blood's madness. Consistently teasing new music online and more importantly their fresh set at Ultra Music Festival consisting of mostly ID's, all we can confirm for now is that the boys are back in town and we are definitely ready to quench our thirst with more unique bangers on the table.
Catch Dog Blood at Sunset Music Festival Tampa, Fl on May 25th.
