Vancouver-based imprint Seeking Blue has long been championed as a major tastemaker in dance music, consistently pushing the envelope by blending indie and electronic music into mainstage-ready hits. The label, which has released groundbreaking tunes from future bass and dubstep heavyweights Seven Lions, Said The Sky and Illenium, among many others, unveiled today Wild Youth, the sophomore LP from prodigious electronic producer and multi-instrumentalist Dabin.
Spanning ten tracks, Wild Youth is a song-cycle of eloquent electronic ballads that traverse all the soaring peaks and poignant valleys of the future bass genre. With the melancholic guitar plucks of "Home," the aching distorted vocal chops of "Part-Time Lover" or the arpeggio-laden melodic dubstep stylings of the Fytch-assisted single "Altitude," Dabin's next-level production prowess is on full display throughout the project's entirety. It boasts a number of carefully curated collaborations, including Yoe Mase, Lexi Norton (of ECHOS), Dia Frampton, RUNN and Nevve, who has quickly cemented herself as one of dance music's premier vocalists in recent months.
In support of the LP, Dabin is also embarking on a North American tour of the same name, which includes two shows in his home country Canada. You can check out the rest of the album via your go-to streaming platform here and connect with Dabin at the links below.
