Chaii's "Digebasse (Enough)" is a statement of self-empowerment and homage to her Persian roots

Bi-lingual emcee Chaii brings the diverse worlds of hip-hop and her Persian roots under one banner on her new single and video "Digebasse (Enough)". The track showcases the Kiwi-raised, Persian rapper in her final lyrical form as a superwoman in every sense of the term. Over a dark trap infused backdrop, she kicks fiery verses (in English and her mother tongue Farsi), about her background and how music can be a unifying tool between various cultures, tribes, and nationalities.

The visual was directed by Chaii who takes the viewer to the artist's hometown in the country of Oman. Backed by the colorful organic aesthetics of the city grounds, she uses the video as a way of shedding a positive light on the middle east while paying homage to cover-up couture. Chaii adds that "Digebasse (Enough)"  is more than just a tribute song but serves as a statement of joy, the journey to freedom, and hope for change. The song was self-produced while the engineering was handled by the veteran mix engineer/producer Sylvia Massy who adds the final magical touch to the vibrant record. Get it on Spotify
