Doja Cat has revealed on interviews that she was trolling when she made “MOOO!”, but, the song now has over 12 million views on Spotify and over 40 million views on Youtube. The attention took her from a notable underground artist on the rise and helped her break through to mainstream popularity. We now have an artist who was already honing her musical talent and then by accident and out of frustration learned how to reach mindless audiences through gimmicky viral content. As Doja Cat continues to explore what the happy medium is between those two things, she is only going to become more lethal and unstoppable.
