Massachusetts based hip-hop duo The Hashassins share some personal stories on the groovy new single "Misunderstood". The duo made up of Sincere and William Wallace deliver bold verses that dwell on their experiences in life over a smooth beat courtesy of NY based producer Shepard.
"Misunderstood" is the product of blending earnest lyric writing and a smooth rap delivery to help set a real-life intimate tone for the listener. Sincere sets it off on the first verse sharing difficult trials through a relationship and trying to find stability in his life. Wallace comes through on the second verse sharing his own personal growth amidst all the drama surrounding him. Although both rappers face similar travails albeit from a different angle, they do share one thing in common, which is the beauty in the struggle.
