Bay Area standout Offset Jim just released his first official project; No Pressure is raw, organic, gritty, and uniquely exciting. When Offset Jim raps he doesn't sound aggressive or eager, but his lyrics are both aggressive and eager. He's flexing and not taking anything too seriously on every one of the eight DTB-produced songs on No Pressure. It's hard to go wrong with features from acts like ALLBLACK, Jay Anthony, Rexx Life Raj, and Tommy Grizzcetti, the last of which delivers an impressively genuine verse on the wordplay-filled "Priorities" track. Other highlights from Offset Jim's first project include the more animated solo cuts "Tap In" and "Play Runna." Specifically on "Tap In," Offset Jim expresses his annoyance with the commanding use of the phrase "tap in" while he delivers an endless stream of trash-talking bars.
Press play on the seemingly effortless No Pressure project from Offset Jim up above.
