Producer REME returns to Hottrax with three rolling house cuts, neatly compiled into EP Juarez Avenue.
"I produced Juarez Avenue in Mexico after paradise in the jungle at BPM Festival so it's cool to see the track come full circle and end up on Hottrax," the Manchester producer shares. "My sound is definitely moulded by music that has touched me on the dance floor so I guess that's where my inspiration all stems from. Those moments are the reason I make music."
The itle track "Juarez Avenue" is the result of his sonic inspirations, setting the tone of the EP with soothing fluidity and acid-infused synths. The unassuming drum patterns flit in and out of the repetitive beats, infusing sensual vocal chops as infectious hooks. "Mystery" follows with sharp bass stabs, upping the beat for a more lively audial experience, REME's masterful use of a playful chord progression and subtle pads, showcases his talents in production, further emphasized by "Duff Duff"'s muffled drums and dub-tinged sound design.
