Singer-songwriter L.A. Foster has debuted her introspective new single “Honestly”. The mellow, steady rhythm the Montreal artist has built into this track is sewn together by a uniquely composed electronic riff. It reverberates throughout, making for a truly hypnotizing sound, and marking Foster as an artist to follow.
Having lived all over the planet, Lesley Ann Foster found a specifically fulfilling influence in Argentina. Fully immersing herself there, she learned to speak Spanish and welcomed the Latin American culture as a major influence to her artistry. After basing herself back in Canada in 2009, Foster has embarked on many successful musical projects since. “Honestly” follows her 2015 debut EP Saudade. Foster again has channeled the influences of her travels and exposures to other cultures for “Honestly”. About the track, she says that “having lived in many places far from where I was born has left me vulnerable, exposed, and at the mercy of others. In that experience, there has been a lot of darkness and of course much light. “Honestly” is about the raw truth.”
