Massachusetts producer/turntablist DJ Manipulator flips synth sounds and crazy percussion on his latest single, “ARP Revisited.” The song also features hard-hitting guest verses from Blu and Louie Gonz.
The record is a pure bar-fest from the start. Blu sets it off with his laid-back commanding flow laced with his usual offbeat demeanor while Gonz wraps the track with that good old gritty styled flow. The duo previously collaborated in a similar setting, on the snarling “This Sound,” a standout leak off Gonz and Manip’s 2017 collaborative effort, The Loops. “ARP Revisited" is taken from DJ Manipulator's previously released beat tape, The Synth Tape, which dropped earlier this year. The tape contains the original “ARP.” It boasts even more speaker-knocking instrumentals of this track’s ilk, and heads who like what they’re hearing on here will need to get familiar.
