Nonso Amadi's previously released single "No Crime" was first featured on our bi-weekly list The Slice some months ago, and as promised he just released the visuals for said single for our viewing pleasure.
The video sees Amadi working with director Meji Alabi who taps into the warm, sensual vibes of the song. He keeps it minimalistic with a very vintage cinematic aesthetic. The props have that early 90s feel when life was different sans internet, social media and on-demand television. It starts with an introductory scene of Amadi and his girl chilling in a vintage automobile in the park and leads to pictorial shots of the two just doing their thing. The overall vibe is very organic and somewhat minimalistic which fits the stripped back feel of the song itself.
"No Crime " sounds like Amadi giving us a precursor of what to come in the new year and we sure hope to hear more from the talented young man. For those that don't know, besides being a songwriter, he is also a self-taught producer and has a body of work Alone EP under his belt.
