If it hasn't already been made clear, the amount of talent bubbling in Toronto is ridiculous. From hip-hop to pop and everything in between, Toronto is pumping out some of the best new artists and sounds. One such artist that should be on your radar is j ember.

Ember's unique ability to move in and out of genres and create a sonic fusion makes him standout. On his new single "Nothing Left", he has tapped into a sound reminiscent of Bob Dylan.

"Nothing Left" beautifully begins with a stripped vibe of an acoustic guitar and harmonica. Before you hit the one minute mark, you a met with a drop that introduces percussion and bass. j ember's voice is raw and invokes an eeriness that can't really be described. “I’m always trying to preserve memories in my music, trying to recreate moments that won’t happen again, and capture feelings that I can’t seem to channel anymore," j ember shares. "‘Nothing Left’ is an ode to immortality."

j ember is definitely one to watch, and it is safe to say 2019 is going to be a good year for the Toronto artist.
