In a world where female emcees are more notorious for their asses than their assets, Nello Luchi is bringing something different to our notice. Influenced by the 90s but molded by the new age, Luchi strives to deliver a dynamic hip-hop vibe with her intense lyricism and street savvy demeanor. On her new song "3AM", she teams up with producer Swish Allnet who prepares an ominous backdrop that fits the title. Verbally, Nello Luchi knows exactly what time it is as she assaults the beat with incisive lyrics laced with a unique swag and the hunger of an up and coming struggling emcee.
The eerie visual shot by Taylor Flash takes the song to new heights with its raw, noir aesthetic and grimy feel. The shots show the rapper out on the strip with her comrades in the struggle and although paying homage to 90s NY hip-hop, the visuals were shot on location in Atlanta. This is the first taste of Nello Luchi and it's a pretty solid start.
