Electronic producer and DJ Jackson Stell, aka Big Wild, returns with two singles off of his forthcoming debut album Superdream. The all-American wild child imbues his signature sunny electronic sound into "Joypunks" and "Maker" whilst introducing a more whimsical, indie-pop vibe.
Steeped in vibrant synths and a happy-go-lucky bass line, "Joypunks" captures his cinematic blend of electronica with an airy feel – a moving and uplifting piece that bends genres. "Maker" on the other hand, focuses on slick retro synths to give the piece a deep 80’s-wave sound and features Stell's vocals as lead. Both tracks are a testament to his expertise in crafting lush soundscapes and sweeping melodies, giving us an ample taste of what is yet to come.
Superdream is set for release on February 1, 2019 via Counter Records.
