Three piece indie musical collective Trapdoor Social has released a new track entitled “Hold Me Down”. The song showcases pounding drums, jangly guitars and a stirring brass section, making it the ultimate enthusiastic and energetic rock 'n' roll hit. Fusing indie pop melodies with surf rock, Trapdoor Social creates a captivating “California” sound that’s distinctly their own. With passionate lyrics about matters of the heart, “Hold Me Down” details the elusive phenomenon that even with all the problems going on in the world, love has a way of making you forget. "Oh no…the world is going under… our love is the least of our problems…but you say one word and I jump!"
The Los Angeles-based alt rock band is more than just musically gifted, they are a group that fights for a cause. Activist fundraising for sustainability, Trapdoor Social produce many solar powered concerts throughout the US including the recent Sunstock Festival in Southern California.
Trapdoor Social has had success in their career with considerable airplay around the country, a national TV ad placement and success on multiple Spotify playlists. The band is set to release a full album following in the New Year and a national tour in the spring of 2019.
