Enigmatic producer Tokyo Machine is back with another chiptune, electronic adventure aptly named "EPIC", released off of powerhouse label Monstercat.
In true, classic Tokyo Machine style, "EPIC" is a quirky, eclectic song brimming with video game influences and hints of Japanese pop culture. Sounds of seagulls squawking flit in and out of the song beset with an uplifting pirate-like tune – the basis of the pre-chorus before the producer mixes in grittier bass lines. Infectiously happy with its upbeat tempo, Tokyo Machine again shows us his signatures sound in a neon-blessed reverie laden with classic bass house and melodic synths.
