All Things Go Fall Classic returns to Washington DC with music and political charge [Photo Journal]

The All Things Go Fall Classic returned to Union Market for its fifth annual appearance this fall. And 2018 meant one thing for the event: to stay on the pulse of both local and national dialogue. This meant focusing on conversations going on around DC and in the music industry, which for ATG, meant a special curation of the two-day event. Saturday saw an all-female lineup, co-curated by two of its performers Maggie Rogers and LPX (Lizzy Plapinger). Bringing Ravyn Lenae, Jessie Reyez, and Billie Eilish together for Saturday and Betty Who, MisterWives, Two Feet, The Aces, Cautious Clay and Carly Rae Jepsen to close out the festival Sunday, the festival did anything but ignore the elephant in the room. In fact, Maggie Rogers herself acknowledged the hearings on Brett Kavanaugh’s sexual assault that had rocked DC earlier in the week, projecting an LED image of his accuser Dr. Christine Blasey Ford on stage to pair with an emotional performance.
