Glasgow based duo Brain Dancing are here with their first EP on Boys Noize Records, with another on the way slated for 2019. Rob Etherson and Ross Anderson collaborated with visual artist and motion graphics designer Joe Crogan – whose past work includes campaigns for Atlantic Records, Southern Fried, Ovaa-Mata – to create a stunning music video that feeds into the overall vibe perfectly. Neon lights and shadowed figures combine into a trippy visual effect and the song itself draws influences from artists like Roman Flugel, Daniel Avery, Chemical Brothers, Larry Heard, Simian Mobile Disco and more.
Brain Dancing is more than a musical project however, as the guys founded the project when they decided to start a club night in Glasgow and after extensive time DJing together they eventually started to write music together, both already producing on their own. They've each got releases on Optimo Trax, and their presence in Glasgow and beyond is heightening. We look forward to seeing their breakthrough this coming year.
