Brazilian DJ and producer Volkoder is hardly a newcomer to the scene; since releasing his first EP 4 years ago, Marcos Beneditti has since soared to fame and recognition from the scene's top tastemakers, effectively becoming an architect of innovative new sounds and tech-house templates. Constantly evolving, the São Paulo artist lays down dark, hard-grooving beats whilst maintaining an air of experimental touches. Following on his set path, Volkoder has released tech-house masterpiece "How" featuring MC Hollywood via Dirtybird Records.
Sampling the distinct vocals of MC Hollywood's "Chama a Novinha Pro Fluxo", "How" is a lush tech-house beauty. With its rugged bass line, abrasive kicks and repetitive vocal cuts, the track is a testament to Volkoder's talents and is an indication of his growth. Tribal/tropical elements (as heard through the background drums) adds a unique layer of depth to "How" – setting it apart from other tech-house tracks. Notably, the drops are laden with groovy buzzes and undulating synths that effectively trap listeners into a moody reverie.
