After popping up on our radar with the pop-driven funk track "Better" some weeks ago, SG Lewis & Clairo are back with the visuals for that same single.
The result of a chance writing session in LA has led to a song that has taken on a whole new life of its own. The chemistry that blossomed between the duo in the studio has now been translated into the cheerful, care-free video for "Better". The video was shot and produced by Weird Life Films who takes inspiration from the 90s, especially from the classic Hype William’s directed videos. On screen, we get to see both artists in different set pieces. The standard car scene with both of them driving around the city in summer and another in a disco tech-ish studio dressed in full-length tracksuits. This music video exudes a nostalgic aesthetic that millennials and staunch fans can all relate to.
