BLVK IRIS, Micky Blue and Janelle Kroll have joined together for a trifecta effect on their latest single "Naked". The single comes as BLVK IRIS has moved his home base from Copenhagen to New York City and "Naked" reflects his current life changes. Putting forth a new sound and style, Iris experiments with blending R&B and modern soul with experimental electronic beats and engaging synths.
As he explains it, “The song has a lot of feelings that takes me back to 1990’s R&B and pop, music I grew up with. But still it has this new and fresh approach to the production.” With two powerhouse females on the track, Blue and Kroll, the 1990's R&B vibe brings back nostalgic memories of its heyday and a more current topic of female empowerment. The ladies share with us, "We felt that in our current American political climate it was really important that we contribute to the conversation of women supporting women."
