Andrew Bayer recently announced his return for another artist album. For Bayer, this doesn't mean merely a set of songs artfully put together, but an intentional web of composition that mimics movements of a symphony. While we wait on In My Last Life's release on August 24th, though, we've been given some pieces to put together and enjoy on their own. This time it's "Your Eyes," a track where Bayer has reunited with Ane Brun, a vocalist who helped shape one of his early hit songs, "Lose Sight."
"Your Eyes" sees Bayer and Brun collaborate on a new electronic playing field. It's 80's pop inspired, showing us a new side to Bayer's extensive knowledge on the electronic music landscape. Out now via Anjunabeats, it's a thought provoking preview to what we can expect come August.
